Lucielle’s of Wilson
has proudly serviced its North Carolina communities since
1939. Rooted in strong traditions of genuine customer service
and quaint town charms, Lucielle’s continues to treat its
clientele with the same kind of enthusiasm and hospitality it
offered its customers 69 years ago.
Originally founded by Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Lucielle Maroon,
Lucielle’s was located on Nash Street in the heart of downtown
Wilson during the booming tobacco market days. Lucielle Maroon
was a vibrant lady with a passion for fashion and fun; and she
made sure to translate that same appreciation for elegant
things into her merchandise. Lucielle’s quickly became known
as a favorite shopping spot for everything fine in women’s
wear from head-turning hats, to snazzy suits, to fabulous
furs, to beautiful bridals. Now, one of the few remaining
original independent bridal salons in the United States,
Lucielle’s Bridals & Formals proudly celebrates its 69th year
in business, exclusively offering bridal and formal wear and
evening accessories.
Now in it's third generation of ownership, Lucielle's
maintains its well-honed reputation for keen fashion sensibility
offering quality designer and private collections always hand
picked with the individual customer in mind. The well- trained
staff of sales consultants and seamstresses is second to none
in their combined experience, courtesy, and service.
Lucielle’s Bridals & Formals happily boasts a lasting legacy
of beautiful women including generations of mothers and their
daughters as brides, debutantes, prom princesses, pageant
queens including Miss Wilsons and competing Miss North
Carolinas, and even a young Ava Gardner. Experience Lucielle's
Bridals and Formals of Wilson and join the legacy of
exquisite women and lovely memories. |
